19 lip 2010 · I've got 2 batteries for the D300, both EN EL3e's, and as I was changing batteries yesterday I noticed the 'fresh' battery had no charge. It had been fully charged and in my bag for about 4 weeks, a bit longer than the usual time.
It's possible for batteries to reverse charge when depleted. There's a tiny bit of juice left but with the wrong polarity and the charger won't recognize them. There's techniques to resolve this but you'll need to look that up yourself and see if you're comfortable doing it.
23 mar 2009 · Yes, a faulty battery. The charger for Lithium Ion battery has a protective circuit. It measures the "voltage" and "health" of your battery while charging. Once it detects a faulty battery it will shut off the charge circuit before over charging the battery. </p>
16 kwi 2021 · Just let them in the charger for a couple of hours, and they might start charging normally. It takes a while, so take patience, just let the battery pack in the charger and wait for it to start taking charge.
6 sty 2007 · I received a replacement battery En-EL3e - # 5X21A from NIKON for my D70 and it looks exactly like the one on the left. I also took a look at an EN-EL3 that was not affected by the recall and that one has the same markings as the new battery, except for the hologram.
3 cze 2010 · Yesterday I fully charged both of my Nikon EN-EL3e batteries and this morning I was using it fine, and I just got home and both of them are completely drain? What could be the problem. One of them is only a few months old.

The Nikon EN-EL3 battery pack is provided as a supplied accessory with the purchase of Nikon's digital SLR D100, D70, and D50 cameras. It is also sold separately at retail under Nikon's model number 26265.
