As you'll see, all four of these cameras (D80, D70s, D70 and D50) are almost the same. If price matters, get a D50 or D70s for a lot less money. If features matter, get the D80. The D80 is a new camera for 2006. The D50 , D70s and D70 are relics from two years ago, which is forever in digital camera years.
26 wrz 2006 · I have a Nikon D70 and consider it to be a fine camera. Can anyone come up with a compelling reason to switch to the D80? Or would a better strategy be to wait one or two more generations?
23 gru 2020 · Here's the simple guide: Choice #1: Buy a D7500 if you're happy with what you've got in terms of camera ability but want to upgrade simply to update your equipment and get better image quality and performance. Be prepared for some surprises in your move to 24mp, though.

19 maj 2007 · If I were to compare the D70 to D80, the viewfinder, screen size, ability to add a Nikon vertical grip with shutter release, low light performance make the extra $$'s worth it. The 10mpo sensor is nice, but surprisingly wasnt a huge deciding factor.
Yes, the D70 is twice as good (1/500 vs. 1/250) as the $4,500 Canon 1Ds-II and Nikon D2X. These more expensive cameras are only using CMOS sensors and can only use the old focal plane mechanical shutters, limiting sync speed.
