24 lut 2007 · XTi's distinctly more capable than the D40, but if you can afford the XTi, you should be aboe to swing a D80 or K10D, which are a step up from the XTi in handling and capability for not much more money. But I'd actually go with the Pentax K100D personally.
21 gru 2006 · In the real world, with discounts varying wildly, the new Canon and the D40 will be competitors. Furthermore, DPReview was willing to pit the XTi against the D80, despite a comparable price difference. Perhaps the information I need is there if I look at both the D40 and XTi reviews, but it'll take some sorting out.
The two cameras I’m deciding to either get right now is the Nikon D40 with the 18-55mm and 55-200mm lens or the Canon Rebel XTI with the same lens. I’m going to be taking photos of sports mainly wrestling which is in doors, nature, and everyday things that I see or when I go out with friends.

3 gru 2006 · A faster sensor, improved autofocus and video see Nikon's third-gen mid-range full-framer go toe-to-toe against Canon's EOS R6 II and the Sony a7 IV. We feel its all-round ability lifts it to the top of the pile.
Nikon D40 can shoot up to 2,5 pictures per seconds and Canon EOS Rebel XTi can shoot up to 3 pictures per seconds.
