15 wrz 2007 · The 18-135 is a very good lens, it's sharp and vibrant, I'm very happy with mine so I do recommend it. Yes I'm happy with mine on my D40 as well. Nice and sharp, and very fast to focus. I must admit that I have been thinking about the 18-200mm VR, only for its VR though.

I've looked at the threads in this forum, but havn't seen anything comparing these two lenses' pros and cons. Is one sharper than the other? Is it worth having the added zoom range on the 135?
