19 maj 2019 · I have been trawling the web and some DPReview threads looking for views on the pros and cons of the 18-140 vs 18-105 but not with that much satisfaction. I am particularly asking for thoughts from those who have used both of these lenses. Shooting mostly with D7500.

22 gru 2011 · The Nikon 18-105mm ƒ/3.5-5.6 is Nikon's latest ''kit'' lens, sold with the D90 digital SLR camera. The lens is designed to fit a camera with an APS-C (''subframe'') sensor, so while it will mount on Nikon film or FX digital bodies, it will show obvious vignetting when set to any focal length.

The photos are nice and sharp most of the time, but if you're looking closely, the 18-105mm is Nikon's fuzziest lens in the corners at 18mm. Even the $100 18-55mm is better.
