Go to the Connect tab. Select your network on the Xfinity app or select See Network on the xFi website. Select Advanced Settings. Select 2.4 and 5 GHz WiFi. Select Edit next to the WiFi band you want to update. The 2.4 and 5 GHz WiFi screen is shown.
22 wrz 2023 · Open the Xfinity app and sign in with your Xfinity ID and password. Tap your Home WiFi Network name. Select Edit WiFi settings. Select 2.4 and 5 GHz WiFi. Select Edit next to the WiFi band you want to update. Select the new WiFi Mode and/or Channel setting. Select Save to save your new settings.

Connect to your WiFi network. Go to Gateway > Connection > Wi-Fi. To change your Channel Selection, select Edit next to the WiFi channel (2.4 or 5 GHz) you'd like to change. Click the radio button for the channel selection field, then select your desired channel number.
28 gru 2023 · I started to install the WiFi Boost Pod but it seems to require that I have the Xfinity WiFi configured so the router automatically manages the 5.0Ghz and 2.4Ghz connections. I have a device that didn't work well that way so I setup separate 5.0Ghz and 2.4Ghz WiFi networks.
4 lut 2022 · had a similar issue recently with a smart lightbulb that could only connect with 2.4 and the inability to separate networks. the solution i found was to disable the 5 network, setup the device with only 2.4 active, then re-enable 5.
