28 paź 2017 · Anyone getting owned on the first boss, or someone who has never played before, I suggest informing them that they should auto-heal and stay at full health on the first boss at all times, which may save them a lot of frustration.

They have larger healthbars, attack phases and defeating them usually advances the main story. When facing a boss, You can find their title, HP bar and the Level.
There are only 2 optional bosses. For one you need to do a specific quest chain that ends in a boss fight (level 99). Thats doable during route A/B/C. The other secret boss fight is one of the side endings (Y).
7 kwi 2024 · I’ve tried many times and many days and still can’t beat the first boss. I’ve watched videos on YouTube too. I just don’t know how to dodge its attacks. The boss attacks, I get caught, and I die. I can’t save before the first boss, so it’s very frustrating.
Simone (also known as Beauvoir in some non-English releases) is a main story boss unit in NieR:Automata and appears in NieR:Automata Ver1.1a. She is themed around an opera performer with attacks and actions synced to her musical performance.
Simone from a boss and style perspective is the best boss in the game. The only other bosses that were challenging as a boss without silly camera angles (Hegel) were the DLC arena bosses, and maybe the optional boss who confronts you after you steal his stuff (trying not to spoiler).
