11 mar 2023 · Answer: Nier Automata has a total of 27 endings. There are 26 endings in the base game, while an additional one was added in the DLC. In general, though, you only need the first five endings to see the main storyline of Nier Automata all the way through to the end.
You'll never need to start the whole game from scratch to get a new ending if you don't want to. Getting endings A, B, C, D, and E took me about 25 hours in total the first time, but I didn't do much side content. Starting the game from scratch and getting all 26 endings took me around 35-40 hours. Hope this helps!
