There are really only three to choose from: Vortex, Mod Organizer 2 (MO2) and Nexus Mod Manager (NMM). Go with either Vortex or MO2. The meta on which is more difficult to use seems to have changed.

Mod Organizer 2 - the mod manager that I, and many others, prefer to use. There are other options out there, such as Vortex, but I am most knowledgable about MO2. I will try and provide a similar page to this for Vortex at some point in the future.
Mod Organizer is an essential tool for modding Skyrim. It's been available for a few years for the Regular Edition, changing how mods are installed by using a virtual file system. This means your install folder goes completely untouched.
