2 wrz 2023 · Understanding the Nielsen Online Survey is important to assess its legitimacy. While the Nielsen online survey is a legitimate program, there have been instances of scams using the Nielsen name to trick people into giving away personal information.

If you're afraid it's a scam, you could always call the company using the number on their website and check. If they send the letter, they'll likely either have some sort of record of it, or at least be able to confirm in some way that the letter was from them in some way.

It's in the name, ffs. A company called nielsen mailed us $2 to do a survey. Yeah this is common, Nielsen is the most famous media ratings company. Before streaming, they would pay people to report on which shows they watched, and they still do for non-streaming media.
