Nielsen’s Grove is the oldest park in Utah. The park was started in 1880 by Danish immigrant Jorgen Nielsen. The park is the only park with a water feature and contains many design elements found in European castle gardens. 21 Acres.

This small park is situated right off of West 2000 South and South I-15 Frontage Road/Sandhill Road. There are picnic areas, small ponds, and a playground. Accessibility: There are 2 designated accessible spaces in the paved parking lot off of Sandhill Road at the west end of the trail.
