The National Institute of Engineering (NIE) is a private engineering college located in Mysuru, Karnataka, India. It was established in 1946 and affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University.
The National Institute of Engineering (NIE) is one of the oldest institutes in Karnataka founded in 1964. In addition to this, the institute is the second engineering college in Karnataka and the first one in Mysore. NIE Mysore is approved by AICTE and accredited by NAAC.
