3 mar 2021 · Keep a tight hold on the chain and step away from the goat and make sure the front feet are wide and square when the judge is in front of you. Learn to set your goat’s feet by pushing on the chain. Keep all four feet square at all times. Don’t: Tilt the head too far back so the goat look looks uncomfortable and appears unnatural.

Used on the goat’s neck and legs, the 4FC blade clips at 3/8 inch. Clipping a doe’s front third will help give her a more feminine look, which is something judges will look for in breeding does.
Tips on Fitting your Goat Clipping: Clip with a fine blade over the entire body 2-3 weeks before the show, and re-clip the head, tail, belly, lower legs and udder just before the show. Washing: Bath goats with a mild shampoo - rinse well! Trimming: Do not trim the hooves less than 3 days before the show to allow for healing if they are trimmed too short.
I'd go with a 48" woven field fence with a t-post/wood post combo (2:1 or 3:1) with 15' spacing should do just fine with proper corners and such. Depending on your location you should be looking at $2.00-2.50 a linear foot for materials.
