6 wrz 2017 · Next. This guideline covers diagnosing and managing endometriosis, including where fertility is a priority. It aims to raise awareness of endometriosis symptoms, and to provide clear advice on referral, diagnosis and the range of treatments available.
Women with suspected or confirmed endometriosis should be asked about their symptoms, preferences, and priorities with respect to pain and fertility, to guide surgical decision-making. Surgical treatment for endometriosis should be performed laparoscopically unless there are contraindications.
