BUTTERFLY VALVE INSTALLATION GUIDELINES. NIBCO butterfly valves are bi-directional and may be installed with flow in either direction. Flanged, lug and wafer style valves are designed and suitable for installation between ANSI Class 125 or 150 flanges.
