14 lis 2023 · Running an alpine ski race requires a number of volunteers to check in athletes, prepare and maintain the course, and judge and time the competition. The rules of alpine ski racing require that a sanctioned event have a number of credentialed officials.
There are several publications where current rules pertaining to alpine ski racing may be found. Qualified alpine race officials do not have to memorize rules, but officials must know where to find rules, how to interpret and understand them, and how to apply the rules in a consistent manner.
Racers in the U16, U19, U21 and Senior age class aquire USSA Race points in scored USSA races. The goal of the NHARA U16 program is to provide a framework that supports U16 athletes in continuing to develop their ski racing skills.
