14 lis 2023 · The rules of alpine ski racing require that a sanctioned event have a number of credentialed officials. A typical race requires a Start and Finish Referee, Chief of Course, Chief of Race, Chief of Timing, Referee, Technical Delegate, and Race Administrator.
There are several publications where current rules pertaining to alpine ski racing may be found. Qualified alpine race officials do not have to memorize rules, but officials must know where to find rules, how to interpret and understand them, and how to apply the rules in a consistent manner.

NHARA supports the Competition Regulations of USSA which provide a framework in which the various ski programs are developed and operated at all levels.

All NHARA U16 athletes are eligible to participate in Open, Macomber Cup Series, LaFoley Spring Series, Twin State U16 Rally, and the NHARA Championship Events. Athletes that are on snow early in the season can participate in the December NHARA and open regional events to evaluate their progress.
