The eForms website by ATF allows users to submit and manage applications for firearms, explosives, and other regulated items online.
When you fill out the Form 1 on the eForms site, you are given the option to upload the EFT file. The site will then validate that it's a legitimate EFT file. After you submit the Form 1, you will receive the typical cover letter that has the directions for mailing in two sets of fingerprint cards.
In this step by step walk-trough guide we go over ever line item in the ATF eForm 1. The ATF eForm 1 isn't the only form needed to apply for a NFA tax stamp. You will also need the ATF Form 23 (5320.23), which is the NFA Responsible Person Questionnaire, only if you are applying for your ATF Tax Stamp with a NFA Gun Trust or corporation.
