25 lip 2024 · Too many virus scan hits. All files on Nexus Mods feature an icon next to the file name to indicate the virus scan status. This is usually a white cross in a red circle or a white tick in a green circle. Clicking on the icon will open the VirusTotal scan result page where you can see which anti-virus engines consider the file potentially unsafe.
9 cze 2022 · If there are mod pages that aren't properly scanned, feel free to report the mods and a moderator can manually re-trigger the scanning process.
18 sie 2014 · I want to download the Skyrim static mesh improvement mod (http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/8655) however it is being scanned for viruses. I've waited for 2 hours now and I think it's stuck, since it says it should be done in a couple of minutes.

3 gru 2022 · If you see this error in Vortex, pay attention to any pop-ups or notifications displayed from your anti-virus. Generally, any problems between Vortex and your security software can be resolved by adding Vortex as an exception.
The virus scan didn't find anything in either of those installations, and as far as I know didn't look at them aside from the scan.
