24 wrz 2010 · Over the past 18 hours or so the Nexus sites have been sporadically serving a trojan file through the ads on the site. Thanks to the logs of a few astute members on the forums I was able to identify the source of the trojan attack and have hopefully now nullified it.

Nexus uses Virus Total for its virus scan. You can view the files within a download if you're suspicious. (Just click "Preview File Contents" on the mod file.) You can just download manually then scan with Windows or Malwarebytes. Then install the archive into your mod manager.
11 lis 2021 · Lately I've been noticing Virus Scanner Popups are appearing more on Nexus and normally I would never see any of those here at all. Last time I had an encounter with those popup virus scanner claiming to be McAfee was a couple years ago and I reported it to the admins.
18 wrz 2024 · A bad ad might be an ad that attempts to serve malware, adware or viruses, pop-ups and pop-unders on sites that don't utilise those ad formats, javascript promp.
Check your devices, and if they are clean, check your router, and if it is clean, try changing your DNS. EDIT: The URL in your screenshot even gives a 404. This occurs due to malicious ads that forcefully redirect your browser. The URL is on securitypatch.life which is a known malicious domain.
