NEXUS is designed to speed up border crossings into Canada and the United States (U.S.) for low-risk, pre-approved travellers. It is jointly run by the Canada Border Services Agency and U.S. Customs and Border Protection. NEXUS memberships are valid for 5 years.
7 mar 2024 · The NEXUS program allows pre-screened travelers expedited processing when entering the United States and Canada. Program members use dedicated processing lanes at designated northern border ports of entry, NEXUS kiosks when entering Canada by air and Global Entry kiosks when entering the United States via Canadian Preclearance airports.
You must submit your application online and pay the application processing fee through the Trusted Traveller Programs (TTP) System operated by U.S. Customs Border Protection (CBP).
