It’s free and travellers need to answer questions about their trip and what they’re bringing into the country. Travellers to New Zealand are able to submit a digital declaration before they travel, through the New Zealand Traveller Declaration website or by downloading the NZTD app .
17 mar 2024 · Up to 24 hours before starting your journey to New Zealand, you can submit the New Zealand Traveller Declaration online at travellerdeclaration.govt.nz. It’s free (don’t pay anyone to do an “NZTD completion service” or similar) and takes approximately 10 minutes to complete.
11 lip 2023 · New Zealand paper arrival card goes digital. Update – 20 July 2023: Travellers arriving into Queenstown Airport now have the option to complete a digital arrival declaration instead of a Passenger Arrival Card before travelling to New Zealand.

You can start your New Zealand Traveller Declaration at a time that suits you either online or via the NZTD app. The declaration is free and everyone travelling into New Zealand needs to complete one. The earliest you can submit your declaration is 24 hours before you start your journey to New Zealand.
