Strands is a dynamic word search game developed by the New York Times Games team. It features a 6-by-8 grid of letters where players find words based on a common theme, revealed through a special word called a spangram.
Open the Strands game to see a 6x8 grid filled with letters. Your goal is to find words that share a common theme, as well as a special word, a spangram, that embodies the theme and must touch two opposite sides of the board.
In Nyt Strands, guess the hidden five-letter word within six attempts. Each guess gives color-coded clues: green for correct letters in the right place and yellow for correct letters in the wrong place.
