- New Jersey Continuing Legal Education - New Jersey Superior Court
Supreme Court of New Jersey Board on Continuing Legal Education. Effective January 1, 2010, all lawyers holding a license to practice law in the State of New Jersey, whether plenary or limited, are required to participate in the mandatory continuing legal education program.
Unless otherwise exempt, every active New Jersey licensed attorney in good standing is required to complete 24 credit hours of continuing legal education every two years. Of those 24 credits, five must be in ethics and/or professionalism and at least 2 of the 5 must be in diversity, inclusion & elimination of bias (BCLE Reg. 201:1).
