To make it easier to download these original maps/types in MCC, I took the liberty of creating two new Xbox Live accounts and uploading most of the listed custom game files onto their MCC file shares.
With these new Halo 3 maps, I'm now having to drop to medium settings and it still dips down to 130hz at times. If 343 is gonna add forge maps to permanent playlists, can we at least make sure they perform similarly to the rest of the maps in the game?
21 sie 2020 · All maps except for Winter Contingency should now work again with the Halo 3 Update. Please note in order for them to work you must copy over the campaign.map and shared.map files to your maps folder, HOWEVER this will make vanilla maps not work.
1 gru 2023 · Map files seem to be bigger than they should be. Also on the list to fix. How to install: Go to your Halo 3 map directory. Located here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Halo The Master Chief Collection\halo3\maps Back up the original map in another folder and replace it with the modded one.
Various changes to tags and data files. Updating your tag set is highly recommended. Added test, audio and lighting reference scenarios levels\test\box, levels\reference\audio, levels\reference\lighting_reference. Map info files have been added to the H3EK.7z which allows the main menu to load maps.
