3 mar 2023 · To find your Extender’s Wi-Fi network password: Use a computer or wireless client that’s connected to your Wi-Fi Range Extender via ethernet or wireless connection. Open an Internet browser. In the address bar, type www.mywifiext.net. Log in using your Username and Password.

I use WN3000RPv3 extender. Currently wifi password for my extender has the same password with the router. I want to change different password for my extender, so no other people could access to my extender.

Open any Internet browser and access www.mywifiext.net or mywifiext.net/start.htm. When prompted, type admin as default username and password for default password. Click Setup and then Wireless Setup.
Connect: Use your computer or mobile device to connect to the extender’s WiFi network, named NETGEAR_EXT by default. The network may be open or use ‘password’ as the default password. Setup Page: Launch a web browser and enter mywifiext.net or 192.168.1.250. This will take you to the New Extender Setup page.
