Oddly, I find my PS3 gives me the best performance regarding Netflix. I have Google Fiber, so I get 1gbps speeds and never have any streaming or buffering issues. But the Google cable box has a Netflix app installed and the picture quality is crap compared to the PS3.
17 paź 2012 · All HD streams are available through Silverlight on your PC as long as you have the bandwidth to support it. Keep in mind that if your current connection is too slow (in it's calculations) to support an HD stream, it will play the SD Version.

Only HD on PS3 and not on my PC? So I was watching Ferris Bueller's day off on the PC and the maximum buffering rate was 1750 and not HD. A bit later I saw it was available in super-HD on my PS3. The quality was far better on my PS3, how come this isn't available on my PC?
The PS3 will only stream in HD when the connection for it is stable enough, when the video starts to buffer it automatically changes it back to SD to eliminate buffering time and will turn it back on when the connection speed is fast enough.
