If anyone is interested, there's a new VMK recreation/resurrection on the scene called NETCOT. They're still in open beta, so there's lots of things not working yet, but I'm really impressed with the project so far and how close it feels to the real VMK! https://beta.netcot.center/.
VMK Legacy, formerly known as Netcot, is another recreation of Virtual Magic Kingdom. In my experience it has a superior recreation of the original client (mostly with some tiny details and animations), but MyVMK offers some cool new custom-created Disney locations not present in the original game.

3 sie 2019 · Joining many of the other Disney virtual world remakes that have been popping up all over the internet lately, (Toontown Rewritten, CPRewritten, Legend of Pirates online, etc) a much underappreciated game is finally making a comeback! It's called "Netcot" and it's a revival of the old Virtual Magic Kingdom game.
