Rajasthan State Textbook Board. Rajasthan State Textbook Board was registered on 29-12-1973 under the Rajasthan Registration of Societies Act, 1958. The State Government declared the Board to be an autonomous body w.e.f. 1.1.1974.

The prime objective of Rajasthan State Textbook Board is to get the textbooks printed and distributed for students of class 1 to 8 studying in government and affiliated schools, after the textbooks are duly approved by the State Government.
