Mostly sharing because everything is such a mess right now and I think it helps seeing different experiences. I mentioned this in a comment on someone else's post, but yesterday I called Nelnet to get clarification on my application to switch to the SAVE repayment plan.
26 cze 2024 · I got the teacher forgiveness loan and was unfortunately assigned to nelnet. I got the loan because I thought I was doing g something good. My grandparents offered to pay my last year and I thought I was going to save them money.
I was just switched from Great Lakes to Nelnet and I have loans from prior to 2006 that I consolidated in 2006 ( from 2000-2006) and I have not had anything forgiven. Does anyone know why this would be?
