I know because I watched two separate people throw their shoes into the tree on just the one hour that I was there during my thru and I heard about several other people who got new shoes in that same spot.

27 kwi 2023 · I got a new pair of shoes, the Asolo Softrock Hiking Shoes and a new pair of Superfeet inserts. I originally had Altras , but have high arches, and they just weren’t working out for my feet. I chucked them up into the tree with much delight.
