The preferred method of access for Gmail is through a browser or through an official Gmail app. Accessing Gmail through a third-party email app (e.g. Thunderbird, Outlook, Apple Mail) is possible, but it is not supported by the NC State Help Desk.
Gmail is the official email provider for all NC State students, faculty and staff. The preferred browser for Gmail is Chrome. Your Gmail has a storage quota assigned to it based on your university affiliation. See Google Storage Quotas for information.
