Sign in with your NC State email address, Unity password, and Duo. Once signed in, you will have access to use the Microsoft Office 365 products online. You can also access Microsoft 365 apps through VCL at vcl.ncsu.edu .

The preferred method of access for Gmail is through a browser or through an official Gmail app. Accessing Gmail through a third-party email app (e.g. Thunderbird, Outlook, Apple Mail) is possible, but it is not supported by the NC State Help Desk.
The incoming mail server is an IMAP server. In the next box, type unityid.mail.ncsu.edu, where unityid is your User ID (e.g. jdoe.mail.ncsu.edu). The outgoing mail server is smtp.ncsu.edu. On the next page, enter the User ID and password for your mail account.
