A Registered Nurse (RN) is required to verify employment for a Nurse Aide to be renewed in the North Carolina Nurse Aide I Registry. The RN may be either a direct supervisor or another RN who has access to employment records and can verify that the Nurse Aide meets the requirements for renewal.

24 sty 2024 · Renewal Form. After 7 calendar days, both forms must be submitted again to DHSR for processing. You must submit separate online renewal forms for listings on the North Carolina Nurse Aide I Registry and the North Carolina Medication Aide Registry for Nursing Homes.

September 2023: All Candidate Handbooks are going digital beginning January 1, 2024. The last day to order paper handbooks is December 31, 2023.
