A Registered Nurse (RN) is required to verify employment for a Nurse Aide to be renewed in the North Carolina Nurse Aide I Registry. The RN may be either a direct supervisor or another RN who has access to employment records and can verify that the Nurse Aide meets the requirements for renewal.
You must be listed as a Nurse Aide I on the North Carolina Division of Health Service Regulation-Nurse Aide I Registry with no substantiated findings of abuse, neglect or misappropriation of property; You have successfully completed a Nurse Aide II program;
