No, the firestick will not automatically launch a particular app. However, if you have a smart tv that Alexa can turn on natively, or a FireTV blaster, and a Alexa device, you can create a custom Alexa routine to do it. Most likely more of a pain in the butt than it’s worth, but it can be done.

8 sie 2021 · When I am watching a live show on YouTube TV, I cannot figure out how to get to the Menu or Home screen for YouTube TV. When I hit the remote's home button, it takes me to the main firestick menu screen.
7 mar 2022 · Other voice commands like turn TV on/off and "Start YouTube TV" work fine on echo dot and fire stick remote. My only option for changing channels is to click through the guide and select channels on remote which can be a lengthy process.
