National Express are as reliable as traffic allows :) You can't buy tickets from coach drivers in the UK (they're v different to local buses), some coach stations have ticket booths but standard practice is to book in advance online.
If I book a flight from London Heathrow departing at 9pm, there's a national coach from where I'll be staying (Nottingham) that departs at 3am and arrives in London at 11am. That should be fine, right?

It's legit for train journeys, so I don't see why coach journeys would be different. Some of the things that get asked here leave me utterly perplexed. Seems pretty standard, I travel to and from Manchester alot and the tickets are always cheaper booked online.
