23 maj 2024 · Just my $.02 cents, a revolver that shoots 45 ACP is far more valuable (to me) than one that shoot 45 Colt. I reload for both calibers, but certainly prefer 45 ACP In revolvers. Personally, I’d put the “Would you take” on the owner. Best of luck!

23 sty 2024 · The 25-5 was the first widely available Model 25 in .45 Colt (the 25-3 and 25-4 were 125th anniversary commemoratives in .45 Colt made with the short cylinder). The 25-5 had a cylinder long enough to accommodate most all .45 Colt loadings.
This Smith & Wesson Model 25-2 is a DA/SA 6 shot revolver in .45 ACP Cal. It has a 6.5 inch barrel. A raised blade front sight and an adjustable notch rear sight.
4 sie 2008 · The new Model 25 Classic, Model 25-15 to be precise, is chambered for the .45 Colt cartridge and wears a six and one-half inch tapered barrel that measures a slim .604 inch at the muzzle, and it balances beautifully in the hand.
2 sty 2023 · I’m thinking about trying to find me a nice Smith model 25 to add to my collection. Never had a revolver in 45 acp. Was curious as to if it’s even worth searching for one to add or not. Any advice would be helpful.
7 wrz 2016 · In 1957 Smith & Wesson began assigning model numbers to their guns and the Model of 1950 (when reintroduced) became the Model 26 and the heavier barreled Model of 1955 became the Model 25. The Model 25 was exclusively 45 caliber, with .45 ACP (with moon clips) or .45 Colt as the options.
