I want the downgrade to be as clean as possible (no 1170 'residue') so that all of my .1130 mods and everything else still work perfectly. Hopefully that is possible. If not, I'll keep it at 1170 and just wait for the mods to be upgraded.
To do this, downgrade from 1.6.1170 to 1.6.1130 using his commands above, then use the latest BestofBoth file for 1.6.1130-1.5.97. Then just make sure you have backport extended esl support and you should be good to go!

29 paź 2021 · An automated patcher to downgrade your Skyrim install from the new AE version to the previous SE version, without redistributing files or requiring any sort of complexity. Just download this, and click "Patch" and it'll do the work.
21 sie 2024 · For Steam, AFAIK 1.6.1170 is the latest Skyrim SE. No downgrade necessary. A source of mod compatibility for various versions of SE can be found at ( https://modding.wiki/en/skyrim/users/skse-plugins) here on the Nexus. Compare it to your mod list to see if you need to change anything.
Open steam, then from the library section, right-click on Skyrim and select Properties. Select the Local files tab and click the verify integrity of game files. Once thats done you can being the downgrading process. Press your windows key and R at the same time. Then type steam://nav/console.
31 gru 2023 · If that works, then try the downgrade procedure. I have also had a corrupted install where verifying the game cache didn't help, and I had to manually delete my Skyrim install directory and re-download. But that usually indicates hard drive issues (it did for me rip).
