Nasir County also known as KuanyLualThuan is an administrative area of Upper Nile State in the Greater Upper Nile region of South Sudan. [2] The headquarters is the town of Nasir, on the north side of the Sobat River, about 30 kilometres (19 mi) from the Ethiopian border.
Payams: Nasir (County HQ), Dingkar, Jikmir, Kiech, Kuerenge-Ke, Mading, Maker, Roam. Roads: A series of major and secondary roads run along the Sobat River, connecting Nasir town to Ethiopia in the east and to Malakal (through Baliet) in the west.
