They have really small grooves, but no defined raised lip like the quickspins The QuickSpin vanes have a raised lip on the outer edge of the vane to grab the air (supposedly) forcing the vane to spin the arrow quicker and tighter

At 34lbs with an average drawlength, that would fit quite chunky arrows. I'm unsure how much spin you'd get out of such a small vane given the rotational inertia of the shaft. More than without. Spinners do give extra stability to the arrow to withstand for example wind, keeping the arrow on the target better.

Bowhunting Gear Review - NAP quickspin - Anyone using the NAP quick spins? After much thought I am going to get some new arrows fletched with helical vanes (4") and was wondering if I should consider them on top of the helicals?
Technical - NAP quickspin vanes - I am looking at ordering some arrows and was wondering about the NAP quickspin vanes. Anybody have any experience with them, good or bad? They are a $10.00 upgrade on a dozen arrows.
