Nano Energy is a multidisciplinary, rapid-publication forum of original peer-reviewed contributions on the science and engineering of nanomaterials and nanodevices used in all forms of energy harvesting, conversion, storage, utilization and policy.
In support of open science this journal offers authors a free preprint posting service on SSRN to ensure early registration and dissemination of research and facilitate early citations and collaboration. Posting to SSRN is subject to SSRN's standard checks.
During submission, the submitting author will be required to answer questions regarding the manuscript and research, as well as provide information and consent for all authors. Below is a checklist detailing the information that will be required.
Our fee support program ensures that all articles that pass peer review can benefit from open access - regardless of the author's field or funding situation. Authors and institutions with insufficient funding will be eligible for discounts to their APC. In order to apply for fee support, please complete our fee support application form.
The Nano Energy section welcomes the submissions of original research, reviews and perspectives which report on the development of novel classes of nanomaterials (0 to 3D) and nanodevices suitable for energy technologies covering the fields of energy generation, conversion, storage and policy.
Nanoenergy Advances is an international, peer-reviewed, open access journal on all aspects of nanoenergy published quarterly online by MDPI. Open Access — free for readers, with article processing charges (APC) paid by authors or their institutions. High Visibility: indexed within AGRIS, and other databases.
