16 wrz 2018 · Luckily, early versions of the Nagra 2 cards were glitchy and vulnerable to certain attacks, which hackers can use to fool the card into leaking its secrets or allow them to be reprogrammed. Later versions of the cards had a lot more powerful security features, and were considered impractical to attack.
I know with Dish Network, when they switched to the Nagra 3 cards it was pretty much game over (sometime in 2008 I think). Before that, I was able to check a website for the new fix every time they’d scramble the codes, and unlock all the channels.
