Weakness: Slight wait time until CD/DVD can be played...about 4 seconds. Purchased this unit to complement my NAD T753 receiver and to replace an older aging dvd player. Very nice musically and video performance was definately miproved.

4 cze 2002 · I've read good things about the new NAD 521BEE and the 542. The 541i is an old favorite here as well. These models are all probably a little more than you'd like to spend (the 521BEE may be reasonable, a big step up from the original 521).

14 mar 2006 · The video was pretty good, I used component out, but not great. The video performance of my Elite 79AVi is better in every way. It would upconvert over component, but only non-copy-protected media.
Audio Enthusiast. Strength: * Excellent sound quality. * Excellent picture quality with natural colours via component out. * Much better than Panasonic's S99 in the sound department and amazingly also better colours in the lower resolutions that the NAD handles.
