21 sie 2010 · I'm having a problem where when I try to select the rows that have a NULL for a certain column, it returns an empty set. However, when I look at the table in phpMyAdmin, it says null for most of the rows.
31 maj 2013 · For DBMSs that treat '' as a value (not null), Vinko's query works: select name,age from members where name is not null and name <> ''. For Oracle, which treats '' as a null, tha above doesn't work but this does: select name,age from members where name is not null.

To filter out rows with blank or empty cells, you can use the FILTER function with boolean logic. In the example shown, the formula in F5 is: =FILTER (B5:D15, (B5:B15<>"")* (C5:C15<>"")* (D5:D15<>"")) The output contains only rows from the source data where all three columns have a value.
