To update your NY.GOV account settings for the New York State Department of Labor (NYSDOL), you may be required to verify your identity with ID.me. This includes resetting your password, updating your username, and changing the email address or phone number on your NY.GOV account.
To do so, log in to your NY.gov account and click the link at the top of the page that says, “Manage [your MFA method] by clicking here.” You will be prompted to log in and authenticate using an existing method, and then you can update your existing methods and/or add new methods.
