Go to Settings > Users and Accounts > Account. Select Sign-in ID (Email address). Enter your new email address and click Confirm. You may need to sign in. You receive an email to your new email address asking you to verify your new sign-in ID. Click the Verify Now button in this email.

Go to the Account Management sign-in page and select Trouble Signing in? > Reset your password and enter your sign-in ID (email address). You are sent an email containing a secure link. The verification email can take a few minutes to arrive.
sony@email02.account.sony.com is a legit email address Sony uses when you change your password. Just doing a search of this forum using that email address showed me that a majority of you don’t understand sub-domains and can’t recognize legitimate emails from scams.
