The Old Dominion University email system is the official electronic mail system for distributing course-related communications, policies, announcements and other information.
Go to outlook.odu.edu and log in with your student email address and MIDAS password. Access your email (plus news, announcements, University services and more) at my.odu.edu. Add your student email as an Office365 account to any of these supported apps: Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail. ODU faculty and staff also use Office365 for email.

MIDAS (Monarch Identification and Authorization System) is ODU's log-in and password management system. Use your MIDAS ID and password to log in to most University applications and services, such as email, Canvas, myODU, Leo Online, Banner and many other important resources.
Log in with your ODU email address and MIDAS password. Once you're in the Office 365 portal, you'll see Word Online, Excel Online, PowerPoint Online and OneNote Online. Click on the application you'd like to use online.
