3 maj 2021 · I'm trying to boot into windows safe mode so that I can run the DDU utility and install the Bootcamp adrenalin drivers (for gaming). When I boot and select the windows partition, I hold 'shift' which brings up the boot options, I select 4 (safe mode), and the login screen flickers, then a black screen, and no response.
After your PC restarts to the Choose an option screen, select Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Settings > Restart. After your PC restarts, you'll see a list of options. Select 4 or F4 to start your PC in Safe Mode.

13 lut 2023 · Press the Windows logo key + R. Type msconfig in the Open box and then select OK. Select the Boot tab. Under Boot options, check the Safe boot checkbox. Immediately a prompt to restart my computer popped up, so I clicked Restart Now. The computer restarted with no image on the screen.
