The expense ratio in an ETF (Exchange-Traded Fund) is the yearly fee, expressed as a percentage, covering operating costs like management fees. To calculate it: Find the ETF's total annual operating expenses (from its prospectus or financial statement). Locate the average value of the ETF's assets over the year (also in the prospectus).
